    Summary

    The Construction Coordinator is responsible for managing a wide range of functions necessary to the construction process. They are responsible for ensuring an accurate supplemental estimate is created from a Project Manager’s Scope, delivering a consistent and complete estimate, and maintaining a high quality of service in all dealings with customers, insurance adjusters, and resource providers involved in construction services. Construction Coordinators work closely with the Construction Estimator, Project Managers, and Construction Managers to provide support throughout the team.

    Key Responsibilities

    Assist with customer service and management of the customer experience

    Educate customers on the reconstruction and insurance process

    Maintain internal and external communications

    Review and validate project file documentation

    Confirm with the Estimator and Project Manager (PM) that the project scope of work is complete

    Assemble accurate and well-organized supplemental estimates and submit them through the appropriate channels

    Communicate with insurance adjuster regularly regarding estimate approvals

    Position Requirements

    Previous restoration estimating and/or insurance adjusting experience is a plus

    Superb customer service

    Effective written and oral communication

    Proficient use of Xactimate™ estimating software is a plus but not required

    Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

    Team Player

    Technologically skilled

    Walking and/or standing throughout the day

    Some site visits will be required to accurately estimate a project

    The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme conditions such as heat

    The noise level at individual job sites can be loud

    Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements

    This is a full-time position, working hours varying between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week minimum on. This position frequently requires long hours, working on-call, and weekend work. Travel is required and is primarily local.
