We need someone with strong math skills and excellent communication skills to write proposals, cost estimates, and detailed takeoffs on our construction projects. Responsibilities: • Work closely with the construction project manager to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors • Visit construction sites to obtain necessary client requirement information • Inquire with clients regarding the status of submitted proposal and budgets • Supply accurate and clear quantity takeoff information to provide a detailed list of materials and assess the total construction costs • Compute labor, construction materials, time, and product costs to estimate overall cost for construction projects Qualifications: • A Bachelors’ degree in construction management, civil engineering, accounting, or a related field is required • 3 years of experience in the construction industry - project estimating or construction management is necessary • Knowledge of data and risk analysis, research methodology, accounting, and estimation metrics is critical • Stellar communication, project management, and time-management skills are crucial • Requires critical thinking, analytical skills, and very strong math skills • You must be able to pass a federal background check to be able to be considered for the job. • This job will require frequent site visits to local DOD military bases where background checks are mandatory. Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000
