We’re looking to hire a skilled estimating professional to assist our busy team by producing proposals, cost estimates, and detailed takeoffs. Responsibilities: • Prepare estimates, written proposals, budgets, costs, and updates for clients and project managers • Furnish accurate and clear quantity takeoff information to provide a detailed list of materials and assess the total construction costs • Revisit previously submitted proposal and budgets with clients • Work closely with the construction project manager to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors • Inspect the construction site to collect necessary client requirement information Qualifications: • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and construction estimating software • Understanding of accounting, data and risk analysis, research methodology, and estimation metrics is vital • Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) certification from the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) is preferred • Three years of experience in the construction industry - project estimating or construction management is needed • Stellar communication, project management, and time-management skills are crucial You must be able to pass a federal background check to be able to be considered for the job. This job will require frequent site visits to local DOD military bases where background checks are mandatory. Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000
