Construction Estimator - Construction - Base Salary to 125k/year - Vallejo, CA

• Our client is an innovative and diverse manufacturing company that specializes in the stick-framed multi-family housing industry. Our client is seeking a Construction Estimator (internally titled Building of Materials Manager) that will be estimating and performing quantity take-offs for materials, database input, and coordinating bid documents the bill of materials.

Responsibilities:

• Review drawings and documents to estimate materials, labor, and cost.
• Complete quantity takeoffs for BOM creation.
• Use historical data to inform future estimates.
• Prepare budgets and cost forecasts for planning and scheduling.
• Work with design, engineering, project management, and factory teams.
• Maintain BOMs from initial model to post-project review.
• Suggest cost-saving ideas and resolve estimating issues.
• Help improve estimating tools and processes.

Qualifications:

• Degree in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in construction estimating or cost management.
• Estimating tool experience (e.g., Sage Estimating, WinEst, Procore)
• BIM 360 experience

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 110k - 125k/year range plus full benefits
