We need someone with strong math skills and excellent communication skills to write proposals, cost estimates, and detailed takeoffs on our roofing projects. Responsibilities: • Provide accurate and clear quantity takeoff information to provide a detailed list of materials and assess the total construction costs • Create estimates, budgets, written proposals, costs, and updates for clients and project managers • Visit construction sites to obtain necessary client requirement information • Collaborate with the construction project manager to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors • Follow up with clients on submitted proposal and budgets Qualifications: • Critical thinking, analytical skills, and very strong math skills are required • 3 years of experience in the construction industry - project estimating or construction management is necessary • Bachelors’ degree in civil engineering, accounting, construction management, or related field is required • Exceptional time-management, project management, and communication skills are essential • Extensive experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and construction estimating software Compensation: $50,000 - $250,000 yearly
