Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join our growing team. The Estimator plays a vital role in assessing damages, preparing detailed cost estimates, and ensuring restoration projects are executed efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate will have experience with industry-specific estimating software and a background in construction or restoration.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive base salary plus the opportunity to earn significant commissions.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct initial job site visits to document damages and determine the scope of work required.

Prepare detailed estimates for restoration, reconstruction, and specialty cleaning jobs using Xactimate (Verisk) and Symbility (CoreLogic) software.

Collaborate with Production Managers to track project timelines, ensuring all documentation and project details are accurate.

Maintain strong communication with property owners to provide updates and exceptional customer service.

Liaise with insurance adjusters to review and revise estimates as needed, ensuring alignment with insurance requirements.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and building codes relevant to the restoration and construction sectors.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum of 1+ years of experience with Xactimate (Verisk) software.

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or technical training preferred.

Prior experience in the restoration or construction industry is highly desirable.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Compensation:

Base Salary: $65,000 per year

Commission: average additional $40,000 annually
