    Construction General Laborer – Nevada

    Position Summary:
    Construction General Laborers support a variety of tasks on active construction sites throughout Nevada. Duties include site preparation, debris removal, material handling, and assisting skilled trades. This role requires physical stamina, safety awareness, and the ability to work in Nevada’s climate and regulatory environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools

    • Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris, hazards, and unused materials

    • Assist with basic construction tasks such as framing, digging, demolition, and compacting

    • Operate hand and power tools under supervision

    • Support carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled trades as needed

    • Comply with all site safety rules and Nevada OSHA regulations

    • Use appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) at all times

    • Follow directions from site supervisors and crew leads

    Nevada-Specific Requirements:

    • OSHA 10 Certification is required for all construction workers in Nevada (Nevada Revised Statutes 618.9912)
      – If not already certified, must complete the course within 15 days of hire

    • Must be prepared to work in extreme heat conditions and follow Nevada Heat Illness Prevention Standards

    • Understanding of local jobsite reporting protocols and hazard communication standards

    • Reliable transportation to reach job sites across the Reno, Las Vegas, or rural Nevada areas

    Skills & Requirements:

    • Ability to perform physically demanding labor, including lifting 50+ lbs and working in outdoor environments

    • Comfortable working at heights or around heavy machinery

    • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to follow instructions

    • Previous construction experience preferred but not required

    • Must be eligible to work in the United States
