We are seeking a hard-working, motivated General Laborer to join our underground utilities crew. This position requires physical labor in various areas of construction, including hand digging, jackhammering, spotting for equipment operators, and setting boxes and vaults. The ideal candidate will have experience with construction tools and techniques and will be eager to learn and grow within our company. Responsibilities: • Hand digging for underground utility installations • Backfilling trenches and compacting using a wacker or puffer • Operating a 90lb jackhammer to break through asphalt and concrete • Spotting for heavy equipment operators during excavation • Setting up and managing traffic control for job sites • Installing and setting boxes and vaults as part of utility tie-ins • Assisting with the setup and teardown of job sites Qualifications: • Experience in underground construction or a related field is preferred • Ability to operate and maintain construction tools such as jackhammers and compactors • Basic understanding of traffic control procedures and safety • Physical ability to lift 90 lbs and perform strenuous labor tasks • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn • **Bonus** : Class A Commercial Driver's Permit or License Compensation: $17 - $23 hourly
