About the Opportunity

ParkerBeth Search Partners is partnering with one of the top commercial glass companies in California to hire Construction Laborers for an exciting series of multi-family/retail mixed-use projects in Santa Monica.

This role is critical in supporting the glaziers and foreman on-site by handling materials, maintaining job site organization, and ensuring smooth operations. With at least two years of secured work on active projects and more in development, this position offers stability, competitive pay, and opportunities to grow with an industry leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move glass, tools, and materials to designated areas on the job site.
• Assist in organizing inventory and preparing materials for installation teams.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the job site, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Work closely with glaziers and foreman to anticipate material needs and provide timely support.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts or dollies to move heavy materials (if certified).
• Follow safety protocols and assist in maintaining a secure job site.
• Perform other general labor tasks as needed to support project goals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction, labor, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs or more) and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Reliable, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Willingness to follow instructions and assist wherever needed.
• Familiarity with job site safety protocols; OSHA training is a plus.
• Certification to operate forklifts or other equipment is a bonus but not required.
• Reliable transportation to job sites in the Santa Monica area.
