    Summary of Responsibilities

    This dynamic role will be responsible for managing production labor staff to ensure efficiency, on-time, on-budget project completion, and client satisfaction. They will oversee hiring, training, and performance of field personnel, while maintaining financial success and project flow from conception to completion. Additionally, you will assist in coordinating remodeling activities with the sales team. Our ideal Construction Manager will thrive in a collaborative environment, and work in compliance with JM Construction policies and expectations. 

    Essential Functions

    • Manage production teams, enforce policies, conduct quarterly reviews, and oversee employee performance.
    • Oversee project scope, budgeting, scheduling, purchasing, and regulatory compliance.
    • Maintain strong relationships with trades, ensure job site safety, quality, and timely project delivery.
    • Oversee hiring, onboarding, and trade partner selection, ensuring compliance with JMC SOPs.
    • Achieve production goals for profit, schedule, and customer satisfaction.
    • Provide weekly progress updates and attend key project meetings.
    • Manage permits, inspections, and staff training for continuous improvement.
    • Track costs, resolve conflicts, and maintain client satisfaction.
    • Create an efficient, high-quality work environment that aligns with JM standards and promotes company culture.
    • Demonstrate integrity, ethical leadership, and focus on personal and employee development.

    Education, Experience, and Skills Required

    • 3-5+ years’ experience in Management
    • 3-5+ years’ experience Construction
    • MA CSL (or willingness to obtain one)
    • Builder Trend experience (preferred)
    • Microsoft office proficient
    • Excellent verbal and written communication

    Compensation

    • $85,000 - $105,000 (DOE)
