    Job Description

    Vertex is seeking a seasoned Construction Manager/Owner's Representative - Project Executive to lead and oversee high-profile projects from conception to completion. This key role has direct responsibility for business and client outcomes.

    • Maintain primary responsibility for the performance of all contracts under assignment including business development, performance, and profit and loss.
    • Participate in strategy discussions and represent the firm to inside and outside constituents exhibiting the highest ethical and professional behavior
    • Lead client representative responsible for client satisfaction. Responsible for ensuring that all team members, Vertex and outside consultants and contractors, meet their commitments to clients. If either falls short, take all appropriate corrective action.
    • Participate as senior leaders in staffing decisions and implement the direction of the team.
    • Take a leading role in representing the firm with all current and prospective clients. Promote the firm at all industry or related events
    • Respond immediately to all concerns expressed by clients concerning Vertex service and assure staff urgency
    • Take an active role in business development operations including prospecting, proposal development, and interviews
    • Lead proposal and interview team providing strategy, guidance, and preparation to all pursuits
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirement:

    • BA/BS +8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
    • Valid driver's license.

    Preferred Qualification:

    • 12 years of related experience preferred with 5+ years of Municipal Water / Wastewater Construction project experience
    • Experience with the installation and startup of large water/wastewater process systems and associated electrical and controls equipment
    • Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal and external contacts
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Efficient with Microsoft Office platforms
    • Efficient with Bluebeam
