    Job Description

    The Leeding Builders Group, a premier builder in New York City, and an entity of AECOM, has an exciting position for a Project Administrative Assistant to support new and ongoing construction projects across New York City.

    • Provides administrative support to one or more project teams.
    • Prepares subcontract documentation based on input and direction from project manager(s).
    • Orders and maintains office and project supplies; coordinates document reproduction orders.
    • Schedules meetings and makes meeting arrangements.
    • Maintains and updates spreadsheets and other project data (e.g., project directory, subcontractor pre-qualification, drawing list).
    • Maintains organizational structure for project documents which may include hard copies, electronic files, and documents hosted on a cloud-based project management system.
    • Corresponds directly with internal and external parties.
    • Assists with general office administration duties. Ensures that the office environment appears clean and professional.
    • Coordinates with third party administrator to ensure and verify subcontractor insurance compliance.
    • Manages in-coming and out-going mail, packages, and messenger service.
    • Uses Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other programs to accomplish work.
    • Works under direct supervision.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • HSD/GED and 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience working in construction or related business
    • Bachelor’s or associate degree
    • Highly organized
    • Team player
    • Works well under tight deadlines

    Additional Information

    • This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future.
    • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
    • This position is located in New York City and is not hybrid nor remote.
    • Position may be located at project site field office or the company’s main office location.
