    JOB SUMMARY:

    As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily momentum of projects and ensuring accurate record-keeping for the projects. In addition to, planning, execution, and completion of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure projects. Working closely with the construction project managers, contractors, and stakeholders, you will ensure the smooth coordination of construction activities and adherence to project timelines and specifications.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Work with senior leaders on the team for scheduling, invoicing, and partnership agreements.

    Meet with team members to learn about the status of existing projects and details about new projects coming into our workstream. May include external agency relationships, partners, and multiple departments within ZIS (Zero Impact Solutions); Work with freelancers and others when necessary.

    Firm understanding of the roles represented on a construction team and who to assign the next steps in the workflow of project demands.

    Expert ability to digest and understand the full scope of complex projects, full comprehension and grasp of where to move a project within a team to ensure projects are delivered on time; copious note-taker in meetings and understands next steps in order to move every action forward to the right team member and ensure completion.

    During our most busy times, this team member will need to be able to relay information back and forth and track and disseminate information in real time while keeping projects organized and on schedule.

    Working with every level and function of the team to collaborate on plans, campaigns, partnerships, and projects with patience. Excellent at managing stress and the pressures of deadlines.

    Manage the scheduling of team discussions/meetings within the organization and with partners external to the company

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

    Previous experience in construction project coordination or related roles, with exposure to electrical or infrastructure projects preferred.

    SMARTSHEETS a plus

    Highly curious, creative, and motivated individual with the ability to work in a fast and dynamic work environment

    Ability to prioritize large numbers of projects at one time

    Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen, interpret, and communicate effectively with on-the-ground construction teams as well as other office members

    Competency or proficiency in Smartsheet (Sys Ad certificate is a huge +), Google Docs and Sheets, and ability to navigate Fieldwide (Project Management tool)

    Ability to work individually and as part of a team at the same competency and pace.

    1-2 years experience in working directly with upper management or project management, internship experience may be included (Required)

    Education and Experience:

    Proficient in engaging effectively with individuals at all levels, including C-level executives.

    Knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.

    Process-oriented; with experience in developing a process to keep track of multiple projects at one time. From scheduling meetings to capturing the next steps and efficiency improvements, all the way to the time of delivery/completion

    Construction industry experience is a must.

    Experience multitasking, and working in a fast-paced, demanding environment

    Excellent spelling, grammar, and editing skills required

    Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills required

    Ability to perform well independently as well as part of a team

    Ability to develop strong relationships with all levels of employees

    Physical Requirements:

    Stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, type, and write.

    Reach with hands and arms, bend, stand on a stool, or climb, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools, or controls.

    Use standard office equipment such as computers, smartphones, printers, photocopiers, etc.

    Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

    Lift files and open desk drawers and filing cabinets.

    Job Type: Exempt, salary

    Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00

    The above represents the expected range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors.

    Schedule:

    8-hour shift Mondays – Fridays
