Job Summary

Endesco, Inc. (www.endescoinc.com, an award-winning certified DBE/MBE/SBE civil engineering firm in the metro Washington DC area, established in 1997) is seeking experienced Estimators to join our team. In this role, you will work on site for the Baltimore Key Bridge design-build project, assisting the design-build team and preparing accurate estimates for this critical project. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and has a proven track record as an Construction Project Estimator.

Responsibilities

Prepares estimates by analyzing costs, materials, labor, bid documentation, and specifications.

Designs, implements, and maintains cost estimating database(s).

Reviews drawings and specifications to determine costs and assists in value management on projects; evaluates third-party estimates and tracks market costs to validate estimates.

Provides reports on various projects by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing cost information and trends.

Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Prepare independent cost estimate for pending change orders related to changes of contract documents or field adjustment.

Review cost proposals prepared by contractors and recommendations.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree from an accredited institution in construction management or related field may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.

OSHA training desirable.
