Job Summary

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Construction Project Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will compile all material and labor pricing needed to accurately price potential projects. The ideal candidate is a capable communicator and detail oriented when breaking down projects. History in the aluminum and glazing industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

Procure pricing on all scope items

Coordinate with other estimators to assist as needed

Negotiate contracts with external vendors and suppliers

Estimate costs and provide completed budget to project manager

Coordinate subcontractors and internal labor pricing

Report on progress

Identify and mitigate any potential issues that may arise

Qualifications

Previous experience in the commercial construction industry, preferably storefront, windows, and glazing

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred

Previous experience in construction and estimating preferred

Familiar with Microsoft Excel and construction management software

Familiar with BlueBeam, CAD, ProCore

Ability to break large projects into small steps
