Our company is currently seeking a Project Manager experienced in Commercial new construction, Retail & Office Fit-outs, renovation, and Remodels. Candidate must be willing to work on a fast-paced work environment that features collaborative problem solving with a variety of workers and managers, and strong customer service skills. Candidate will be working closely with Construction Estimators to Project Coordinators to supervise project planning, scheduling, budgeting and implementation.
Experience Requirements:
2-5 years of experience or more
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage on-site building construction activities
Supervise all contractors involved in the project
Recruit and supervise general contractors for specific tasks
Conduct blueprint plan reviews and handle material takeoffs
Assist with project estimating and budgeting
Lead job meetings with clients to ensure project alignment
Manage project scheduling to meet deadlines and milestones
Collaborate with owners and developers throughout the construction process
Handle contracts, AIA documents, change orders, and project close-out procedures
Coordinate purchasing of materials and ensure quality control and quality assurance standards are met
Develop project scopes and facilitate submittals and invoicing
Maintain precise construction documentation and manage punch listing activities
Manage construction projects ranging from $5,000 to $5,000,000 or higher
Qualifications:
Proven experience in on-site building construction management
Demonstrated ability to supervise and oversee various contractors effectively
Previous experience in hiring and managing general contractors
Proficiency in blueprint plan review and conducting material takeoffs
Strong skills in project estimating and budgeting
Ability to lead client job meetings and maintain clear communication
Experience working closely with owners and developers throughout the construction process
Familiarity with contracts, AIA documentation, change orders, and project close-out procedures
Knowledge of purchasing materials, quality control/quality assurance practices, and scope writing
Competence in managing submittals, invoicing, and construction documentation
Skilled in punch listing activities and managing projects ranging from $5,000 to $5,000,000 or higher
Excellent communication, written, and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Editor, MS Project, and MS Outlook
