Construction Project Manager - Civil Construction - Base Salary to 135k/year - Lettsworth, LA
Our client is a family-owned civil construction company with a national presence that is based in Boise, ID. Specializing in water resources, this full-service engineering and self-performing construction firm has been operating for over 20 years providing clients with realistic solutions driven by a mix of precision and creative balance.
The Construction Project Manager will focus on heavy civil construction projects, particularly water resources, dams, and similar infrastructure. The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for managing the Old River Dam rehab project.
Responsibilities:
Manage mid to large-scale heavy civil projects (5M - 75M).
Oversee all project phases, from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Mentor and guide junior project team members.
Develop work plans, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and engineers.
Manage contracts and negotiate revisions.
Obtain permits and licenses.
Prepare reports and track project progress.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
5+ years of experience with heavy civil design-build projects.
Experience managing all aspects of projects, from design to implementation.
Marine or industrial work experience is preferred.
Willingness to travel throughout the country as projects demand.
Compensation:
Base salary in the 100k - 135k/year range
Variable Bonus: 3-6%, prorated for mid-year hires, distributed annually in November/December.
Per Diem: Approximately $600 per week (minimum $416).
Travel Bonus: $500 every four weeks for travel home or spouse visitation.
PTO: 16 hours (2 days) every four weeks for long weekends or travel.
