Construction Project Manager - Commercial Fencing - Base Salary to 90k/year - Benicia, CA
Our client is a commercial fencing company that has been in business since 1993 and is successfully growing year over year. They prioritize collaboration, innovation and growth and pride themselves on being an industry leader in the Bay area. They are doing about $30M a year in business and service municipalities, schools and other commercial businesses. They are a forward thinking construction environment and excel in client engagement and retention. They are headquartered in Sacramento, but are hiring out of their growing Benicia office.
They are looking for a Construction Project Manager for their team. The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and completion of commercial fence projects, ensuring they meet quality, time, and budget requirements.
Responsibilities:
Manage the entire project lifecycle, from pre-construction through construction to project close-out.
Partner internally to oversee coordination of RFIs, drawings, and submittals.
Establish detailed project schedules, assess material needs, and maintain project organization.
Direct collaboration with internal teams, external vendors, Project Coordinators, and Superintendents to secure resources and ensure projects are delivered as planned.
Conduct job walks, master the specifics of commercial fence, understand our products and offerings and drive the implementation of efficient and scalable processes.
Contribute to the recruitment and development of the Bay Area team, reinforcing Crusader’s culture and values.
Qualifications:
3+ years of project management experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Also open to someone who comes from the field, a specialty construction background, or construction/building materials sales background
Bachelor’s Degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred. (or relevant additional experience in place of a degree)
Expertise in project planning, budgeting, and management.
Experience with subcontracting and specialty construction trades is highly desirable.
