Our client is seeking a Construction Project Manager with 8+ years of experience. Commercial and/or industrial construction handling projects cost from $10m to $40m + experience is required to be successful in this position. The Construction Project Manager will support the building side of the business, where we handle a wide range of projects, including warehouses, factories, manufacturing facilities, logistics/trucking centers, office spaces, auto dealerships, aviation hangars, higher education institutions, parking structures, self-storage facilities, and more.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage project plans and schedules
Monitor progress and adjust as needed
Create and oversee project budgets
Control costs and manage financial risks
Act as the primary client contact
Lead project teams and ensure clear communication
Enforce quality standards and manage risks
Monitor safety practices and compliance
Maintain project records
Manage procurement and supply chain
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience working for a commercial GC
Must have experience working on commercial project values of $5mm - $30mm+
High School Diploma or higher (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
Ability to read and understand construction documents including project plans, specifications, and shop drawings
Clear understanding of the documentation and processes between the owner, architect, and contractor
Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Procore, and other construction-related software
Compensation:
Base salary in the 120k – 140k/year range
