Construction Project Manager - Construction - Base Salary to 75k/year - Brevard, NC

• Our client is a family-owned and operated construction company in Brevard, NC. They are licensed in NC, SC and Georgia and have been operating for over 50 years successfully. They do a lot of multifamily, single family and commercial projects and due to their long standing reputable name have relationships with tons of subcontractors in the area that allow them to work smoothly, swiftly and effectively. They are very relationship driven with their clients as well as their employees.
• Due to growth, they are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to work full time. In this role you will plan and supervise a wide range of commercial and residential construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints. Applicants must be well-versed in in all construction procedures and be able to coordinate a team of sub-contractors and in house staff to achieve the best results.

Responsibilities:

• Controlling the time, cost and quality of construction projects.
• Planning and coordinating all aspects of the construction process, including hiring subcontractors and working with engineers, architects and vendors.
• Writing purchase orders and change orders.
• Determining the scheduling of different phases of a construction project based on established deadlines.
• Overseeing and securing all permitting with local municipalities.
• Securing the delivery or materials and equipment to construction sites.
• Monitor construction progress, including worker productivity and compliance with building and safety codes.
• Resolve problems that arise due to inclement weather, emergencies, or other issues that may cause delays.
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience as a Project Manager - overseeing projects, budgets, teams and sub contractors
• Must be detail-oriented, customer focused, organized; possess a sense of urgency.
• Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Ability to exercise prudent judgement in the absence of supervisors.
• Ability to maintain utmost confidentiality and sensitivity.
• Ability to be a team player with leadership abilities.

Compensation:

• Base salary up to 75k/year, plus bonus
