Essential Duties:
The Project Manager is responsible for leading project teams throughout the planning and delivery of assigned projects. This includes establishing appropriate project budgets and profitably managing all administrative activities related to assigned projects. This individual also participates in marketing, business acquisition, and is capable of performing large complex projects or leading multiple smaller projects. The Project Manager reports to Project Executives and supervises Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, and works in close coordination with Project Superintendents and Project Assistants assigned to the project(s).
Essential Skills:
Business acumen, good judgment, communication, leadership, client relations, negotiation, construction knowledge, decision making, conflict resolution, tact, adaptable, analytical, and coach are all necessary skills for a Project Manager.
Education: An industry related college degree is preferred but not required.
Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience as a commercial construction project manager. Experience in a fast-paced business environment is helpful. Proven history of leading, teaching, developing, and mentoring others successfully.
