Construction Project Manager & Residential Maintenance Technician

As our Construction Project Manager & Residential Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a critical role in managing whole-house remodels, overseeing rental turnovers, and performing maintenance and repairs across our expanding portfolio of 40+ rental units. This is a hands-on position where no two days are the same—you’ll lead projects, coordinate contractors, and roll up your sleeves to ensure homes are move-in ready. Responsibilities: • Project Management: Plan and oversee whole-house remodels and capital improvement projects, including creating a scope of work, budgets, and timelines while coordinating subcontractors and managing final punch lists. • Maintenance & Repairs: Perform a variety of hands-on tasks associated with both unit turnovers and service calls, including minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general home repairs. • Contractor and Subcontractor Management: Maintain and grow relationships with new and existing contractors. This includes getting quotes on new projects and sourcing new subcontractors to partner with as our company grows. • General Support: Work with office staff to source, procure and deliver materials needed to jobsite. Maintain organized workshop and work vehicles. Assist with tasks as needed to keep multiple projects on track. Qualifications: • Possess a deep understanding of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, project management principles, and construction methods • Superb leadership capability, organizational skills, time-management abilities, and communication skills • One year of previous experience as a construction project manager required • Experience using construction or project management software preferred • Must have a minimum of 10 years experience in residential construction trades. Compensation: $32 - $40 hourly
