Work Location: In person Responsibilities: • Complete accurate estimates of required labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors needed to complete the project • Ability to manage projects from start to completion • Ability to read and evaluate architectural/MEP drawings and relevant contract documents • Must maintain open communication between, clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors • Performs other duties as required • Hiring, recruiting, managing, and maintaining subcontractor base across assigned projects • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interact and collaborate at all levels • Prepare project documents and schedules • Ensure all project activities are being completed promptly by using documentation tools Qualifications: • PMP certification is a plus • Excellent time-management, organizational, leadership, and communication skills • In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, construction processes, and project management principles • One year of previous experience as a construction project manager required • Completed training for OSHA 30 license • College degree (Bachelor’s) in construction management, engineering, or another relevant field is a plus • Strong technical ability including reading/interpreting drawings required • Actively participates in all preconstruction services and engineering sessions by reviewing Owner's expectations/criteria, coordinates with the design team and owner, and reviews design documents • Conducts pre-bid conferences, identifies project requirements, and provides value engineering ideas • Ability to perform in a collaborative, team-based environment • Sales and negotiating skills • Energetic with a high sense of urgency • Experience with creating estimates and proposals • Detail oriented • Meeting critical project deadlines and progressing projects in a logical and cost-efficient manner • Negotiating change requests with architects, construction managers, and clients professionally to foster good-will with team members • Pre-construction Jobsite visits • Supervisory experience in the construction industry • Experience in the Construction industry: 2 years preferred not required • A PA Drivers License • The ability to legally work in the United States Helpful Characteristics and Personality Traits: • Variety - needs to like the variety of projects • Enjoy the freedom of routine - no micromanagement • Self-disciplined and high-level accountability. • Okay with managing multiple projects and balancing priorities. • Need someone proactive and self-starter • The person in the role must make timely decisions, find practical solutions, and implement work with a sense of urgency Compensation: $70,000 yearly
