    Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH) is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to join our CCI Utility and Construction Services team, a subsidiary of BBCH. This position is located in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Project Scope of Work: Replacement of fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems including site work and new fire pump house at a facility on Cape Canaveral FL Space Force base. Work in an occupied building with phased construction. Responsibilities: • Coordinate and review submittals to ensure compliance with quality standards • Update the submittal register accurately and in a timely manner • Conduct inspections to evaluate materials and workmanship quality • Supervise special inspections as required • Maintain detailed rework/deficiency logs for quality improvement • Perform quality inspections • Hold preparatory meetings with the project team to discuss quality control measures • Complete daily reports Qualifications: • OSHA 30 • CQM-C certification within the last 5 years • Minimum 5 years of construction experience as a Quality Control Manager on projects of similar size and complexity (Fire Alarm and Fire Sprinkler projects are a plus) • Experience managing Government projects • Proficient with Word, Excel, and PDF • Experience with Procore and RMS is a plus • Be able to obtain badging on military bases • As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable references and background check results Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining the physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunities to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to; hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Working Conditions: Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife.
