    Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH) is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager/Site Safety & Health Officer to join our SES Construction and Fuel Services LLC team, a subsidiary of BBCH. This position is located at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) in Anchorage, AK. Responsibilities: • Develop and manage the project’s Quality Control Plan (Army Corps Three Phases of Control). • Maintain and update project documentation in RMS and Procore. • Develop, submit, and manage both government and DOR RFIs. • Perform routine quality control inspections. • Certify that all submittals are in compliance with contract requirements. • Review plans and specifications to ensure requirements are met for each construction process. • Provide documented evaluations, assessments, and CQC assistance to staff and subcontractor personnel. • Ensure effective and timely preventive and corrective actions are taken and recurrence of problems are eliminated or minimized. • Conduct pre-final inspections, establish and correct punch list deficiencies. • Coordinate final inspections and submit required project closeout documents. • Manage safety and occupational health management through inspections, surveillance, site safety orientation, activity-specific training, and enforcement. • Attend pre-construction, pre-work, and three-phase inspection meetings. • Implement and enforce Accident Prevention Plans (AAP). • Review, develop, and enforce subcontractor Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA). • Oversee subcontractor safety and health compliance. • Conduct continuous safety and health inspections, maintain a written log including date of inspection, area/operation inspected, identified hazards, recommended corrective actions, estimated and actual dates of corrections. • Investigate incidents and complete required reports. • Track and resolve safety deficiencies. • Attach safety inspection logs to the Contractors' daily quality control report in RMS and Procore. • Maintain OSHA Form 300 and daily production reports for all contractors. • Maintain a list of hazardous chemicals on-site and their material safety data sheets. Qualifications: • USACE CQM Certification • OSHA 30 • 1st Aid/AED/CPR • Experience in Procore and RMS • 5 years of experience of similar size and complexity Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to; hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Working Conditions: Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife.
