    Job Description

    AECOM Hunt is seeking an experienced Airport Construction - Safety, Health & Environment Sr Manager with airport safety experience for an ongoing construction project in Chicago, IL.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Assists the ES&H Director in the formulation and administration of the company's environmental safety and health policies and programs for the home office and field operations.
    • Assists in the supervision of all ES&H activities and in the selection of related facilities/project personnel.
    • Assists in the planning and conducting of training for project personnel and is responsible for ES&H in the areas of policy, procedures, inspection, regulatory compliance and incident investigation.
    • May represent the Company on technical and professional committees and assists in local, State, Federal and industrial standards, codes or regulatory formation.

    Minimum Requirement:

    • BA/BS + 10 years of relevant safety, health and/or environment construction experience, including 2 years of leadership or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • CSP certification a plus
    • 10+ years of relevant safety, health and/or environment construction experience and 4+ years of leadership experience a plus
    • Prior experience on large infrastructure construction projects.
    • 5+ years airport construction safety preferred
    • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • In order to receive a security badge at the client worksite to enable access to secure portions of the facility for which you are being hired to perform services, you may be required to pass the client's security screening process, which will include, but may not be limited to, Homeland Security background check and fingerprinting. Should this be required it will be done after you have commenced employment, and your participation in that process and a pass rating by the client are both conditions of your continued employment by AECOM.
