    About Us

    Ken Spears Construction has over 45 years of remodeling experience, proudly serving Northern Illinois since 1975. We are seeking a passionate sales professional to help homeowners achieve their renovation dreams. In this role, you’ll connect with clients in DeKalb and Kane Counties and surrounding areas, offering tailored solutions for kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, full-home renovations, and any evolving needs of the homeowner. You’ll listen to their needs, recommend quality solutions, and ensure we deliver on our promises.     Essential Functions

    • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Actively prospect and qualify leads, schedule and conduct meetings with potential clients, identify their needs, and maintain ongoing communication throughout the project.
    • Design & Estimating: Collaborate with the Design department to develop concepts, oversee pricing, and lead presentations to secure project agreements.
    • Contract Negotiation & Project Oversight: Develop, present, and negotiate contracts, ensure client agreements and payments are in place, and manage change orders and project updates.
    • Sales Performance & Reporting:Meet revenue goals, submit weekly forecasts, and report on sales activities and results to the Sales Manager.
    • Client Satisfaction & Post-Project Follow-Up: Maintain detailed project records, gather client feedback, request referrals, thank the client for business.

    Education, Experience, and Skills Required

    • 5+ Years Sales Experience
    • 5+ Years Construction Experience
    • Experience with estimating and contract writing (preferred)
    • Design (CAD) experience (preferred)

    Compensation 

    • $110,000 Salary- tapers to a salary plus commission
    • Simple IRA (3% match)
