Summary
As the Construction Services Department Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Construction Services Department, including but not limited to technicians, fieldwork, and laboratory services.

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage, maintain, and monitor the Construction Services Department (CSD) engineering services; both field and office operations and personnel to ensure all testing and reporting is per required specs, testing standards, etc.
- Communicate CSD technical needs with counterpart CSD Operations Manager to ensure department functions as needed to accommodate project and Client needs.
- Directly oversee and monitor QC Manager and Field Staff to ensure, on a technical standpoint, project requirements are being met on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Communicate with the rest of CSD Management team on regular schedule to determine construction progress of projects, testing requirements are met and future technical requirements can be achieved.
- Direct management of all field staff to ensure CSD engineering services are provided at the required technical level for the project team/Client.
- Manage and monitor CSD profitability through managing efficient processes and procedures for field and office staff and communication with CSD Operations Manager.
- Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional licensure and knowledge of all department software to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- In general, direct involvement with clients and client representatives shall predominately be on an engineering or technical basis and any inquires outside of this should be passed on to the appropriate personnel. Some Client relations will require project site visitations to ensure our services and performance meets expectations and requirements.
- Client/project involvement outside of engineering services should typically be passed to the appropriate CSD management (i.e. field staff logistics and equipment logistics to the CSD Operations Manager); however, overall department profitability is the responsibility of the CSD Engineering Manager and this will require involvement in all aspects of the Construction Services Department.

Required Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (P.E. License)
- Experience with Construction Materials Testing and/or Geotechnical Engineering

- ACI Certifications
- CTQP Certifications
