Construction Superintendent
Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH) is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our SES Electrical LLC team, a subsidiary of BBCH. This role entails scheduling, subcontractor management, communication with the client and building occupants, safety and occupational health management, monitoring, assessments, safety site orientation, activity-specific education, and assurance of compliance. Compensation: $125,000 - $135,000 yearly Responsibilities: • Manage the project schedule and subcontractors effectively • Conduct progress reviews with the owner regularly • Review and assess billing percentages with the owner • Coordinate activities with the Site Safety and Quality Control managers • Facilitate site access for subcontractors • Develop and maintain the project schedule RFIs • Perform inspections and identify hazards on site • Compile and submit daily reports • Thoroughly review plans and specifications • Ensure compliance with regulations and project requirements Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining the physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, climbing, or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to; hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise. Qualifications: • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Construction • Experience managing Government medical construction projects (minimum of 5 years within the last 6 years) • Must possess ASHE Healthcare Construction Certification (HCC) • Renovation experience • Proficient with Word, Excel, and PDF • Experience with Procore • Familiar with P6 or Microsoft Projects scheduling tools • As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable references and background check results We are an equal-opportunity employer.
