    • The Construction Superintendent plays an essential role in ensuring uninterrupted forward progress of each construction project by providing onsite management of all labor, materials, equipment, safety, security, and subcontractors at job sites. The Construction Superintendent will establish and maintain sound relationships with owners and strategic partners such as architects and subcontractors and proactively address issues as they arise. The Construction Superintendent will partner with a Project Manager to form a well-coordinated building effort.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain project safety in accordance with all safety requirements and enforce all policies.
    • Construct the project in accordance with the plans, specifications, and standard work practices.
    • Work closely with the project team to ensure all required paperwork and documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Plan work schedule, determining workforce levels, materials quantities, equipment, requirements, etc.
    • Maintain schedule to avoid unnecessary overtime and extended general conditions.
    • Ensure that all lay out is accurate and that information is conveyed to all trades being performed.
    • Ensures on-time delivery while maintaining team focus on safety, quality, and budget.
    • Leads and/or assists with job set-up, communications, safety compliance, record-keeping, quality control and closeout as needed.
    • Develop and maintain site logistics.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 8+ years of related field experience in a construction management or supervisory role with experience managing projects ranging from $3 to $25 million (or as an assistant on larger projects).
    • Knowledge of the full construction process from ground-breaking to completion.
    • Proficiency in reading construction drawings, plans, and specifications to provide information to project/team members.
    • Ability to anticipate construction process issues and problems to keep the overall schedule of the project on track.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize scheduled work under pressure of deadlines.
    • Ability to lead and motivate project/team members and subcontractors.
    • Knowledge of pertinent federal, state, and local regulations such as building codes, OSHA requirements, and other construction safety standards.
    • Knowledge and experience with construction software and technology (Procore, Sage Timberline, Microsoft Suite, and MS Project preferred).

    Compensation:

    • Base salary in the 90k - 120k/year range.
    • 401k with company match.
