Before you read any further, one thing you know about this job is that it's a "Working Supervisor" role. Meaning, you will be on-site leading and working (as in using tools and operating machinery) with a crew of recreational installers handling playgrounds, outdoor fitness equipment, shade structures, and other recreational products. What does this position entail? This position will handle Florida-based projects with the potential to occasionally travel to lower Georgia as well. Travel is project-specific so each week will be determined ahead of time as to when the team will or will not be traveling. The Superintendent responsibilities will include: • Personnel management - Holding team members accountable • Meeting deadlines • Closing out projects and minimizing return trips • Interfacing with customers • Taking ownership of projects to ensure efficiency and profitability If you have a love of working outdoors and seeing a project through completion, you will get a great sense of accomplishment from this job. Responsibilities: • Consult with the project's stakeholders to ensure that the project remains within budget • Keep a daily record of project progress and home improvements for the project manager and the homeowner • Confirm that every construction project produces a high-quality finished product, supervise construction workers, execute regular on-site inspections, and provide feedback as needed • Take ownership of your projects to bring them to completion on time, under budget, and produce an excellent customer experience.
