HRTC Technology is seeking an Epic Lumens Consultant.

Position Duration:
Long Term Contract (12 - 20 months)
Purpose
Support the planning, design, building, configuration, testing, implementation, and optimization of the Lumens module, ensuring it meets the needs of clinical staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead the initial planning and design phases of the Lumens module implementation.
- Configure the Lumens module to align with the specific needs of the healthcare organization, including endoscopy workflows, documentation processes, and integrations with other Epic modules.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of the system before go-live, ensuring it meets quality and performance standards. Collaborates with technical colleagues to help identify any infrastructure related issues that have resulted in clinical application issues.
- Work closely with gastroenterologists, endoscopy nurses, IT staff, and other Epic analysts to ensure seamless integration and alignment.
Skills and Experience
- Epic Lumens Certification Required
- Some project management experience is preferred.
- Minimum two years’ Epic work experience after certification.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Highly organized, able to multi-task as well as maintain intense focus on individual tasks.
- Self-starter with ability to maintain schedule, meet deadlines, and monitor one’s own work product.
- Highly adaptable; able to acclimate quickly to new project assignments; to include, but not limited to:

Required Qualifications
- Active Epic Lumens Certification
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of IT principles, software development, and system analysis, typically evidenced by a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Possesses practical experience in healthcare IT environments and strong knowledge of clinical information systems, clinical informatics, data management and administration, generally shown through at least 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare IT or Epic systems.
- Experience and proven success in information systems implementation, development and support within a large-scale healthcare organization.
- Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience with clinical information systems, typically demonstrated by at least 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience as a major participant in EHR configuration and implementations.
- Experience with online scheduling design and implementation.
