    Florida Doctors Group is looking for a Consulting Coordinator to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity for someone driven, enthusiastic, and organized who wants to help streamline the credentialing and application process for major health insurance providers. In this role, you will assist with processing credentialing applications for Medicare, Medicaid, the Marketplace, and all other health insurance and regulatory bodies, including AHCA. This is a dynamic, fast-paced position where you will be responsible for ensuring that all credentialing and application processes are completed efficiently and accurately.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Coordinate the processing of credentialing applications for all major health insurance providers, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace

    Prepare and submit applications to regulatory bodies, such as AHCA, and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements

    Maintain accurate records of credentialing applications and follow up to ensure timely processing and approvals

    Work closely with healthcare providers, assisting them in gathering necessary documentation and answering any questions related to the credentialing process

    Track the status of applications and ensure providers are informed of progress, delays, or required actions

    Assist with the development of internal processes and ensure efficiency in the credentialing workflow

    Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues that arise during the credentialing process

    Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to credentialing and healthcare applications

    Qualifications:

    Prior experience in healthcare credentialing or a similar role (preferred but not required)

    Knowledge of healthcare insurance systems such as Medicare, Medicaid, Marketplace, and AHCA applications

    Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

    Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills to ensure applications are processed accurately and in a timely manner

    Enthusiastic and driven with a passion for continuous learning and growth

    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and internal teams

    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable using credentialing software or databases

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a high volume of applications while maintaining accuracy and efficiency

    Positive attitude and a strong desire to contribute to the team’s success
