    Who we are looking for

    Position Overview: We are seeking to retain a Consulting Psychiatrist who believes in the power of psychotherapy. The ideal candidate will provide consultative, medical, and emergency services as needed.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Collaborate with therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure holistic treatment approaches.

    Provide consultation and support to therapists and staff regarding complex cases.

    Offer medical and emergency support as needed.

    Stay current with developments in psychiatric medicine and best practices in mental health care.

    Qualifications:

    Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with a specialization in Psychiatry.

    Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry.

    Valid state medical license and DEA registration.

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.

    Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

    Experience in or willingness to work with diverse populations.

    Flexible and adaptable to varying work schedules, including remote work.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience working in a therapy practice or similar mental health setting.

    Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

    Additional certifications or specialized training in areas such as child and adolescent psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, or addiction psychiatry.
