COMPENSATION
Earn while you learn with progressive salary increases up to $1,000.00 per week during introductory training period. After training period ends, non-recoverable commission draw of $17.10 per hour with earnings potential exceeding $100,000.00 per year.
POSITION DETAILS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales of cabinetry and kitchen & bath products to both retail clients and over 4,000 established home remodeling dealer accounts.
- Selling is your focus. Lead generation, vendor follow-up, measuring, delivery scheduling, and after-sale service are all managed by separate specialized departments.
- All selling is done in the showroom. No outside selling or cold call selling.
- Four-to-five day work week. Permanent rotating sales schedule includes a three-day weekend off every third week.
- Utilize Consumers' proven sales techniques to assess and satisfy client needs.
- Design and layout of kitchen & bath home remodeling projects
- Provide excellent customer service throughout each stage of the sale
CORPORATE TRAINING PROGRAM
- Nine week technical and sales training program includes seven weeks in a classroom environment plus two weeks of on-the-job training.
- Earn $800 per week throughout the nine-week training program and $1,000.00 per week for the 12 weeks following the training program.
- Certificate course given by NY Kitchen & Bath Design Institute located at Corporate Headquarters in Yaphank.
- All course materials supplied.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Energetic, with a strong focus on customer service
- Retail sales experience preferred, but not required.
- Self-motivation
- An aptitude for sales and leadership
- A positive attitude and exceptional personality
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of Windows-based operating system and Internet functions
- Ability to handle the physical requirements of retail
