    We are looking for a marketing professional to be the curator of Skiptown's online presence.

    Skiptown is on a mission to make the lives of pets and their people easier, and even more fun, through a tech-enabled, premium pet services ecosystem, and state-of-the-art facilities. Our 24,000 sq ft flagship location in South End offers dog daycare, boarding, grooming, training and a social bar - and will soon expand to include retail. We are soon opening in Denver, CO and Atlanta, GA!

    You are someone who is always looking to learn and grow and take on new challenges. You like to juggle multiple tasks at once and thrive in a startup environment. You take responsibility for your own quality of work and you are passionate about marketing and social media. Must love dogs (obviously). This is a full time, exempt headquarters role that reports to our Head of Marketing.

    What you'll do:

    • Execute strategic marketing initiatives for local teams in Charlotte, Atlanta, and Denver.
    • Develop, manage, and oversee local, apartment, and other community partnerships
    • Create, post, and distribute copy and creative for social media, press, emails and other marketing initiatives
    • Maintain social media presence to make sure events are posted and information is accurate
    • Provide website support and ensure website calendar and our digital communications reflects events, marketing, outreach, and other promoted partnerships
    • Recommend improvements to the executed strategic marketing initiatives
    • Create photo and video content as needed to contribute to Skiptown's content library
    • Engage in promotional discussions, posts, and comments with other popular local social media accounts and our clients
    • Outreach and engagement with social media influencers to develop paid or free campaigns to gain clients
    • Curate and organize a content library of user generated content

    What you'll bring:

    • 1+ years of experience in marketing - in-house or at an agency
    • Social media experience - Instagram specifically
    • TikTok experience is a plus!
    • Acute attention to detail
    • Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills
    • Top-notch creativity and communication skills - written and verbal
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
    • Integrity; you're quick to take responsibility for mistakes and share your wins with the team
