SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Communications and Marketing, the Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating and managing content projects for the Leger brand. The Content Marketing Specialist will research, write, adapt, and edit the team's content and communication tools to provide original and relevant content tailored to our various target markets.
The Content Marketing is responsible for developing and implementing marketing content strategies across channels to increase the company's visibility and achieve its business objectives in North America, especially in the United States and the Canadian market (Toronto). They will also act as a resource and marketing expert for the organization's content projects, supporting other internal teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Content
- Define, develop, and implement B2B marketing content, as well as the organization's key content strategies to help Léger penetrate the U.S. market
- Create high-quality, impactful, engaging, and original content that will enhance the brand and engage U.S. clients (including videos, articles, e-books, case studies, webinars, etc.)
- Write and revise content for marketing initiatives (B2B) and organizational communication tools (blog posts, monthly newsletters, promotional emails, press releases, marketing campaigns, etc.)
- Partner with content and editorial teams to develop and implement SEO best practices and related content management techniques for website content and landing pages, and benchmark performance
- Adapt content, taglines, and CTAs from Canadian English to American English to ensure that the tone is appropriate for the target market
- Ensure that the tone used in communications accurately reflects the brand and adheres to the organization's writing standards
- Design content strategies tailored to target audience/personas and industries
- Establish a quality control process for reviewing content in English to meet the highest standards
Build Awareness of Leger Brand & Project Management
- Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies to strengthen Legers' position in the U.S. market and Greater Toronto
- Manage, plan, and follow up on deadlines and relationships with stakeholders for the department's various projects
- Develop sales collateral materials
- Act as a marketing consultant to internal teams, adapting content to the U.S. market to stand out from the competition
- Coordinate and manage content projects in support of different internal teams (research, creation, management, etc.)
- Collaborate closely with various stakeholders (internal or external), such as media partners and advertisers, to enhance marketing strategies and improve brand visibility
- Stay updated on industry trends and propose new content ideas to constantly innovate
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree/bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or another relevant field
- Five (5) years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams and analytics)
- Knowledge of communication/web platforms such as HubSpot and WordPress
- Technical skills including experience with the following: SEO; email marketing; content marketing strategies; social media strategies; Google Analytics and SEMrush, an asset
- Excellent oral and written English
