Position Overview
Everspring is looking for a Content Strategist & Copywriter who will own content production, copywriting, and calendar management across all marketing channels. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented, creative storyteller who can bring Everspring's value to life through clear, consistent, and compelling content.
This position reports to the Vice President of Growth Marketing and is located in Chicago, Illinois. Everspring operates in a hybrid workforce environment and requires 3 days in the office weekly, with additional days as business needs arise.
Primary Responsibilities
Own content calendar development and management , ensuring alignment across campaigns and channels
Write high-quality, engaging copy for digital marketing, email, web, and social channels
Oversee content production , ensuring timely and high-quality output
Manage content execution , including deployment to owned and paid channels
Track and analyze content performance , optimizing based on insights
Maintain and evolve editorial standards and voice consistency
Qualifications
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
5+ years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, and marketing communications
Experience working in or with marketing agencies or higher education institutions
Proven ability to translate complex services into clear, engaging content
Exceptional writing and editing skills with keen attention to detail
Experience developing competitive content strategies across platforms
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with higher education marketing and technology providers
Background in higher ed, agency, or consulting firms
Understanding of higher education industry trends and challenges
Experience with content management systems (e.g., Salesforce), email marketing platforms (preferably Marketo, though Pardot or HubSpot are also acceptable), social media channels (LinkedIn, Meta, podcasts), and project management tools (such as Asana, Workfront, or CoSchedule)
Track record of building and executing successful content marketing plans
Skills & Attributes
Strategic thinker who can turn insights into actionable content
Excellent project and calendar management skills
Strong interpersonal and collaborative communication style
Able to shift easily between content strategy and execution
Experience working with AI and content libraries is a plus
