    Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Contents Technician to join our team at Envy Restoration amp; Construction. The Contents Technician is responsible for the inventory, packing, handling, and cleaning of personal property items, typically in homes or businesses affected by fire, water, mold, or other damage. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that our clients’ belongings are handled with care, documented properly, and restored to pre-loss condition whenever possible. ****


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform detailed inventory and documentation of contents using industry-specific software.
    • Pack, move, and transport personal property items safely and efficiently.
    • Clean, deodorize, and restore damaged contents including furniture, electronics, clothing, and other personal belongings.
    • Assist with on-site and off-site contents processing and storage.
    • Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients during stressful situations.
    • Maintain accurate records of all activities, including chain of custody.
    • Follow safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
    • Work closely with team members and project leads to ensure timelines and standards are met.
    • Assist in warehouse organization, storage, and inventory management.
    • Participate in job site setup, cleanup, and support of field technicians when needed.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Prior experience in restoration, moving, or cleaning industries is a plus.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
    • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
    • Basic computer skills for inventory and documentation.
    • Professional appearance and demeanor.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.

    Preferred Qualifications (not required):

    • IICRC certification in Fire and Smoke Restoration (FSRT) or Contents Processing.
    • Experience with contents management software such as Encircle, XactContents, or similar.
    • Bilingual a plus.
