    • Provides leadership in all continuous improvement programs and processes including the development, coordination, implementation, and maintenance of continuous improvement programs, processes and services including policy development and compliance
    • Develop, lead and implement process improvement initiatives and activities throughout the plant to improve competitiveness and operational excellence
    • Review and measure manufacturing methods, technology application and workflow processes and apply lean/continuous improvement application skills
    • Responsible for working with the various departments to plan, execute, monitor and continuously improve plant and corporate objectives
    • Provide supported guidance to all departments in the application of lean/continuous improvement manufacturing techniques
    • Develop, implement and monitor verification methods to ensure team members are gaining knowledge from the training and that the continuous improvement activities are sustainable long term
    • Track, monitor and implement required improvement activities related to business plan, goals, issues, etc.
    • Guide the research, development and implementation of programs and best practices to maximize cost savings through implementation of proactive and innovative programs
    • Review and manage all plant continuous improvement management system functions and activities. Maintain communications with Plant Managers and continuous improvement associates
    • Initiate and drive continuous improvement workshops throughout the organization to establish best practices and eliminate waste
    • Champions the AUTOKINITON Operating System monthly report out, and monitoring and maintaining all metrics at the plant
    • Facilitate Kaizen workshops and meetings at the plant in preparation for monthly report out
    • Responsible for implementation and facilitation for year over year cost saving targets and initiatives at the plant
    • Direct and drive the utilization of problem-solving methods for related plant and customer issues

    This full-time, salary role is a part of our Engineering team and reports to the Engineering Manager.

    Required experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in business related field or relevant experience
    • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with experience in automotive environment preferred
    • Demonstrated experience in applying lean manufacturing concepts

  • Qualifications
    • Must have exceptional diplomatic communication skills and experience in handling difficult customer situations.
    • Must be detailed oriented, and have the ability to multi-task.
    • Proven track record in advanced high level customer service and follow through a plus.
    • Must be a positive, professional team player.
    • Current RN state license preferred. Must comply will all state requirements and regulations.
    • Possess Basic Life Support (BLS from AHA or MTN).
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software and computer skills including experience with electronic medical records systems.
