    Job Description

    The CSD Specialist is responsible for development and implementation of the CSD process throughout the entire production facility. CSD Specialist will develop all training material, record all material that is completed, ensure that all team members are retaining information being trained and keep training documents updated with any changes that may appear. CSD Specialist will oversee all CSD Trainers on all shifts. This person will also help other plant operations to solve training issues that may arise. This position will be carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.

    HOURS: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm

    Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:

      • Know and understand the plant functions.
    • Coordinate the development and implementation of CSD training materials.
    • Keep training materials up to date.
    • Working in a team to produce content that’s satisfactory to all end users.
    • Helping managers, supervisors, and leads solve specific problems that are skills based.
    • Train instructors and supervisors in techniques and skills for training and giving feedback to team members.
    • Work independently to get material completed in a timely manner.
    • Be flexible with production to reach all shifts.
    • Follow lean manufacturing practices.
    • Supervise Team Members.
    • Suggest improvements; continuously improve the quality of all support activities.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required Education

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

    Required Experience :

    • One to three years of experience working in a direct or staff function within a manufacturing environment.
    • Experience in the development and creation of training documents such as SOPs, work instructions, procedures or job aids
    • Project management experience

    Preferred :

    • Previous experience as a trainer, training project SME and/or training designer
    • Knowledge of plant operations processes

    REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES :

    • * Able to organize and prioritize in a multi-tasking environment.
      
      • Able to read and write legibly.
      • Follow written and verbal instructions.
    • * Good computer skills. Demonstrated proficiency of computers and Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft
      
      • Follow Company Policies and Procedures.
      • Supervise, Train and Direct Team Members

    WORK ENVIRONMENT :
    The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work environment is a plant / office setting with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels. Exposure to manufacturing equipment movement and wet / slippery floors. Travel may be required.
