The Contract Administrator at TopDog Law will be key in evaluating and supporting the administration of many local counsel agreements and contingency fee agreements with thousands of clients. The Administrator maintains organized contact records and ensures compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements. The Administrator researches state and local jurisdiction-specific requirements for the General Counsel. The Administrator builds and manages a database and organizational system for company-wide information management. Responsibilities: • Contract Management : Review contracts, and proposals, ensuring that all specifications and policies are met and adhered to. Draft questions and communications between TopDog Law and local counsel firms. • Negotiations and Compliance : Support or participate in contract negotiations with local counsel firms and/or customers. Review and analyze contract terms to identify any potential risks or compliance issues. • Documentation and Analysis : Review supporting materials and agreement documents related to contracts and agreements, offering guidance as necessary and providing detailed analysis to management. • Collaboration : Partner with Inventory and Finance departments as necessary to ensure that docket materials and payments are consistent with contracts. • Contract Record Maintenance : Maintain organized and accessible contract records to meet compliance, reporting, and regulatory requirements, ensuring that documentation is up-to-date and in compliance. • Risk Management : Monitor contract performance and manage any required amendments, renewals, or terminations as necessary to protect the organization’s interests. • Other : Other duties as assigned by management to support this and related business functions. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in political science, business, law, or related field required. • Minimum of two years of experience in a legal office, business office, or similar work setting as a paralegal, business manager, contract administrator, or related role required. • Exceptional attention to detail, organization skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills required. • At least intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Suite equivalent products required. Preferred Qualifications: • Five years of experience as a contract administrator, paralegal, or business administrator in a law office. • Paralegal certification or degree. • Experience in research, understanding, and following statutes and regulations. Compensation: $72,000 - $80,000 yearly
