    Contract Business Analyst (Waterfall only)

    MUST be local to New York City, Hybrid Schedule, at least 3 or 4 days onsite

    This is a critical role within a very lean and strong team that owns a portfolio of technologies and projects, including Banking's Salesforce CRM system and business intelligence tools. The BA will perform business analysis functions in collaboration with front office stakeholders as well as internal partners and other team members. This is not a technical BA position.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Prepare Swim Lane diagrams and create workflow diagrams
    • Pull reports from Salesforce and perform data analysis using strong Excel skills (must do Pivot tables)
    • Requirements analysis responsibilities include requirements gathering and documentation, process analysis and documentation (process flow diagrams), development of user stories and business requirements documents (BRDs), mock-ups of screens
    • Financial analysis, reconciliations and monitoring
    • Support various change management tasks including development of user documents, drafting of change communication memos, and user training
    • Must be attentive to details and have the highest level of oral communication

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 5-7 years' experience
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills and experience in Waterfall is a must
    • Strong knowledge of advanced Excel, SQL / VBA
    • Superior oral & written communication skills
    • Ability to plan, organize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with limited supervision
    • Experience supporting the implementation of change management initiatives

    Interview process: The manager will ask each candidate selected to complete a one hour written case study for his review. If the case study is sub-par the candidate will not proceed. There will then be a 1-hour video with several people followed by an onsite interview.

    No exceptions to this process.

    Additional note: The manager will not read any resume longer than 2 pages.

    The manager will not interview anyone who does not have perfect communication skills.

    The manager said he prefers someone out of a major management consulting firm like PWC, Anderson, McKinsey, etc. who brings broad highly professional skills.
