    Contract Training Coordinator: part-time

    Role: Provides sales and administrative support in the development and coordination of grant related and/or customized training for the Center for Workplace Learning.

    Hours will be Monday-Wednesday 8:00 am-1:00 pm and Thursday 8:00 am-12:00 pm or Monday-Wednesday 12:00 pm-5:00 pm and Thursday 12:00 pm-4:00 pm.

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

    30% Identifies client needs. Performs client needs assessments and analyses, identifies customized training or grant solutions to address skill gaps, and recommends training solutions. Develops and maintains client profiles for continuity of course customizations and grant reporting.

    30% Coordinates the delivery of grant training or customized courses and maintains training calendar. Schedules courses with clients; orders participant materials and training aids, coordinates production and preparation of materials, and secures contract with training facilitator.

    10% Coordinates facility requirements such as catering, security, technology, and audio-visual resources for on-site and off-site classes.

    10% Ensures timely collection of enrollment forms and trainee documentation; ensures required data is properly reported and stored for grant accounting and compliance purposes.

    10% Maintains a list of high-quality vendors and trainers; develops long-term relationships and provides professional development opportunities as needed.

    5% Develops and maintains training evaluation instruments and utilizes evaluation analysis as a component of continuous improvement. Provides training evaluation feedback to clients and trainers.

    5% Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

    7. Maintains a valid drivers license and/or reliable transportation for travel to client sites as needed.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    Experience- Six months to two years of similar or related experience.

    Education- Associates Degree is required.

    Interpersonal Skills- Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the college for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.

    Other Skills- Project management mentality with excellent organizational skills. Proven experience in client needs assessments and the ability to meet sales goals. Knowledge of grant writing or grant implementation, including an understanding of Skills Development Funds Grants or other industry driven programs. Proficient is Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

    Physical Requirements- Occasionally required to lift up to 30 pounds. Ability to travel as needed to deliver training at client sites or attend overnight professional development courses.

    Work Environment- Generally, an office or classroom environment. Work may occasionally be scheduled at client work sites, which may include manufacturing, healthcare, or other industry sites.
