    Job Description

    The targeted hiring range for this full-time position is $62,600 - $84,500 depending on qualifications; however, the expanded salary range provides opportunities for advancement. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and job location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, competencies, experience, and relevant education, training or a combination of these things and market demand.     Red Wing Shoe Company is seeking a Contracts Analyst to join our Revenue Enablement team within Revenue Operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with contract review, drafting, and legal experience to support Red Wing’s diverse sales teams while mitigating risk to the company.

    The Contract Analyst will be a main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders relating to contract compliance, drafting contracts and amendments, and adherence to corporate Menu of Services, Standard Operating Procedures, and operation policies. This role will help identify opportunities for improvement in the contracting process and systems while ensuring scalability and speed to market in support of compliant customer facing sales contracts/agreements.

    Essential Duties:

    Working closely with the Global Contracts and Enablement team, you will:

    • Assist in drafting, redlining, and negotiating supply of goods agreements, NDAs, and contract amendments.
    • Perform contract review to identify areas of risk in third party MSAs, consignment agreements, purchase orders, bid proposals and propose Red Wing approved standard terms as well as compliance with applicable legal rules
    • Review contracts to identify notable provisions to help train Red Wing’s contract lifecycle management (CLM) system on clause identification.
    • Providing support to other departments with contract-related questions and issues
    • Advising stakeholders on contract terms and their implications
    • Maintain thorough familiarity with company policies and procedures regarding the processing of agreements in accordance with SOPs and Menu of Services. Identify, develop, and implement Standard Operating Procedures, including documentation, for improvements to contract management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Perform a variety of audits and process documentation to outline and establish current process to help inform areas for improvement, automation, etc.

    Qualifications

    Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree; with a minimum of 3 years’ experience negotiating and reviewing a broad range of agreements, with working knowledge of data privacy and security issues related to technology and data transfer.

    Paralegal certificate or JD is required. Experience with General Services Administration contract administration is a plus.

    Candidates should have a solid understanding of the contracting process from negotiation through execution, preferably in goods or materials purchase agreements; Detailed oriented with strong negotiation skills, and possess the ability to prioritize and drive multiple tasks simultaneously; Excellent interpersonal skills and professional oral and written communication skill; Ability to communicate with diverse people at all levels of an organization, internal and external teams, and stakeholders, and be versed at developing effective relationships and partnerships via collaboration; Technologically adept, with excellent software skills, including but not limited to MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint. Experience with Salesforce.com and Contract Management Lifecycle (CLM) tools is preferred.

    Work Environment:

    This role is a hyflex work arrangement; primarily remote work availability, but onsite work per business needs, located at our Red Wing, MN headquarters office.
