    Architectural Contracts Manager
    Minneapolis, MN | Direct | $110k - $125k


    Our client, a leading full-service Architecture, Consulting, and Design firm, is seeking a skilled Contracts Manager knowledgeable about the design and construction industry to manage all phases of the contract process. This role is vital in facilitating the contract lifecycle, managing risk, and providing expert guidance to internal stakeholders.

    Architectural Contracts Manager Responsibilities:

    • Manage all phases of the contracting process, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
    • Draft and revise contracts for clients and consultants, utilizing approved templates and collaborating with project stakeholders.
    • Analyze and redline client-provided contracts, coordinating with outside legal counsel as needed.
    • Review contract insurance requirements, liaise with insurance brokers, and work with accounting teams to secure Certificates of Insurance.
    • Supervise the renewal process for professional and corporate licenses and handle professional liability claims in coordination with brokers and counsel.
    • Provide expertise on risk management, including trends and best practices, and coordinate educational opportunities for internal teams.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external advisors, and legal counsel to support effective contract development and execution.


    Architectural Contracts Manager Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, law, paralegal studies, or a related discipline.
    • 5 + years in a professional services environment, with a minimum of 3 years in contract development or management roles.
    • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, AIA Document software, and familiarity with professional liability insurance.
    • Understanding of architecture, engineering, and construction industries, with an ability to identify and mitigate contract-related risks.
    • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a talent for presenting complex ideas clearly.
