Our family owned and operated company is seeking a Contract Specialist to join our team in Prairieville, LA.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Read and review/revise/mark-up all contracts for the company according to company standards.

    • Set up new projects and customers in the enterprise system

    • File documents electronically and complete special projects as needed.

    • Provide administrative support to CFO and accounting department when necessary.

    • Contract intake, recording/logging and disbursing to the appropriate team member.

    • Completion of pre-qualifications on new and existing customers

    • Coordinating insurance, safety, and financial information

    • Communicate with team members and customers to resolve differences in contract terms and conditions.

    • Requirements

    • Must be at least 18 years of age.

    • Ability to read and understand contract language and/or pleadings.

    • Experience in construction contract review preferred.

    • Ability to effectively perform in an advanced, fast-paced environment both individually as well as part of a team.

    • Needs to be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, strong communication skills, and a positive and helpful demeanor.

    • Ability to routinely lift and move objects weighing up to 10 lbs.

    • Must pass drug and alcohol screen and successfully complete random screens.

    • Basic Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge – proficiency in Excel is a plus.
