Control Panel Test Technician
Eden Prairie, MN | Direct Hire | $25 to $32/hour depending on qualifications.
We are seeking a Control Panel Test Technician who is responsible for testing control panels, entering parameters in VFDs, and troubleshooting electrical circuits.

Control Panel Test Technician Responsibilities:

• Test control panels for accuracy according to the provided drawings
• Enter parameters into VFDs
• Test analog circuits and troubleshoot electrical circuits and wiring
• Work with voltages up to 480V VAC
• Write test programs for forcing I/O
• Use tools like voltmeters and process calibrators
• Follow safety protocols and test procedures

Control Panel Test Technician Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience testing panels
• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, 3-phase, and single-phase
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams)
• Familiarity with Allen-Bradley software (RSLinx, RSLogix) preferred
• Previous panel building experience a plus
• Strong work history with prior employers
