Washington Air Compressor Rental Co. is located in Rockville, MD within 500 feet of the entrance to the Twinbrook Metro stop. Washington Air Compressor Rental Co. has an immediate full time position opening in Accounting for a CFO. An individual who has 20 plus years accounting experience.

Controller / Financial Analyst

· CPA, proven accounting leader.

· Comfortable being hands-on & do everything CFO

· Owns the month-end close for two privately held corporations and provides input for related entities.

• * Has managed everything from the accounting and finance functions of a business, managing lender relations, annual audit preparations, fixed assets to the overseeing of AP and AR, credit card reconciliations and inter-company and related-party transactions.
  

· Skilled in preparing full financial statements, managing the entire month-end cycle, and overseeing accounting for multiple locations

· Experience overseeing accounting and finance for a $10M plus company.

· Experience with Sage and strong Excel and QuickBooks user.

· Experience with ABL Lending

• * Prepares monthly bank reconciliations, reconciles balance sheets, assists with payroll reporting, prepare and post journal entries
  

  • Responsible for month-end close tasks which include balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, payroll and benefit reconciliations, accrued and prepaid expense recognition, and lease reconciliations.
  • Responsible for overseeing the entire accounting process and overseeing a small team plus financial statement analysis, budgeting, forecasting KPI reporting & cash flow modeling.

· Experience folding in Acquisitions a plus.

Must be able to sell value, yourself and have consulting skills to overcome price objections. Be highly trainable and have a minimum of 10 years of experience. Computer skills are essential. Knowledge of construction equipment, durable goods, heavy machinery, building products or any other mechanical products is helpful but not required.

Hours of Operations:
Monday- Friday between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00PM
