Essential Duties: · Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for financial systems, services and programs and guide all aspects of financial delivery to positively impact business performance. Functions: Administer the functions of finance for La Farm’s 11 hospitality departments/locations in Restaurant 365 and 8 entities in QuickBooks Online with experience in commercial and residential rental property management, royalty revenue and consulting services. · Values: Drive and support company culture and values. Other Essential Duties: Accounting: Oversee financial administrative duties and accuracy of R365 and QBO for all companies. Ensure A/R, A/P, and Payroll procedures are current and accurate. · Ensure bank and credit card transaction postings and period reconciliations are complete, and post monthly petty cash reimbursements. Cash management accuracy – Approve daily bank ACHs, download bank activity to R365 and QBO. Ensure quarterly and yearly sales tax, annual business personal property reports and annual Form 1099s and 1095s are submitted timely. Present weekly and monthly cash flow statements to include forecasts and projections for the executive team. Manage the completion of month end one week from close and year end by Feb 15th yearly for accrual GAAP financial statements. Present consolidated and individual financial statements for 11 departments/locations as well as ownership consolidation for 12 entities; set quarterly and yearly strategies to increase revenue and cash flow. Manage all insurance policies for all companies and process claims. Management of annual budget and yearly planning reports. Office Administration: Manage F&B program development: R365 and Cybake, inventory process, production sheets, vendor order approval process. Set and monitor company quarterly and yearly goals execution; manage period end procedures. Loss prevention: security, legal, IT, viral, MIS, R&M (contracts). Hiring and training (financial and IT systems) of key members of team, office staff. Project Management: · Maintain controllables (yearly contracts): R&M, health insurance, company insurance, life insurance, retirement program, consultants, store lease, hiring of key members of team, office staff Organizational: Maintain office virtual files on the server to meet La Farm system and government regulations. Close year end files to IRS standards and set/open new year filing system. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Multi-location and entity accounting and bookkeeping experience with hospitality and restaurant experience desired. Computer skills: Microsoft Access, Excel (advanced skills – VLOOKUP, pivot table), Outlook, Word, QBO, R365. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree; 5 years of executive financial experience Essential Physical Demands: Ability to occasionally lift and carry < 25 lbs. Ability to sit at workstation and/or stand on feet for long periods of time.
